24/7 ‘Ask A Lawyer’ Session: Our favorites over at 24/7 Artists are back with another exciting free community event on Tuesday February 11th with Amy Oraefo, ESQ to help answer legal questions, discuss contracts, and more. The Echo Chamber: B.A.K. is launching a new artist-focused conversation series for the community starting on Tuesday February 11th. These conversations will be hosted and led by artists, unlike most panels in the music industry today. Music professionals, are encouraged to join, listen, and learn to ask questions and hear what the industry looks like from an artist’s point of view. If you’re not a member of the B.A.K community, you can DM them for a guest invite!

A&R Breakfast Club: For LA-based A&Rs, A&R interns, and assistants working with artists behind the scenes, APG is hosting a breakfast and conversation event on Friday February 14th with Mike Caren. This event has limited capacity, you can apply via APG’s form.

Measure of Music Virtual Conference: Back for their fifth year, Measure of Music happening on February 21-23rd is a free three day virtual music conference to show the impact & importance of data across the music industry and to give current music execs, music industry hopefuls and industry career changers a crash course (and a finished project!) in music and data in collaboration with some of the most influential people and companies driving the democratization of music data around the world.We’ve attended the past two years and have nothing but incredible things to say. Blavity Creator Fellowship: For all of our creatives this one is for you! Blavity launched a paid fellowship opportunity for creative storytellers to produce and create content across the Blavity brands, platforms, and social channels. From lifestyle, pop culture, travel, music, and more. As a fellow, you'll create a set amount of original videos and receive an accompanying stipend. Each quarterly cohort will collaborate with Blavity's editorial and expert creator teams to publish content for Blavity's social channels. Apply ASAP — here.
